Naked Smokey

For Christmas I received the naked smokey palette, I have been listing over this for ages and I finally have my hands on it! For those of you who don't know it is from urban decay and has 12 wonderful colours ranging in a lovely variety for the perfect smokey eye. I have brown eyes and find that warm colours make them pop and look better on them overall. I also love a good smokey eye so this is perfect, I find this palette so easy to use as all of the shadows are finly milled and easy to blend. I also love how pigmented they are and I usually add some Mac fix + for any of the glittery shades to really make hem pop.

So far I have only been playing around with it just to get to grips and see which couloirs work best. I have found that it is great for evening makeup to really make it look dramatic and glamorous but also perfect for everyday wear.

And for the first time in a naked palette I actually love the brush that comes with it! I have the original and the 3rd palette and they both come with flat brushes, so this has been perfect with a fluffier brush. I suppose it has to be to really get the idea smokey eye.

Another thing I love so much is the packaging it is so sleek and robust at the same time. Not like I drop mine but I feel that if I did the shadows would be safe from any damage. The pattern is really pretty aswell so it looks lovely sitting out on a vanity or while you are getting ready in the morning.

Here are some pictures of my most used shades so far! Whiskey, high andThirteen, you may notice that they are all fairly tame colours and are quite normal but I have been ising these during the day just to create some soft deffintion in the crease. It also really makes your eyes pop using the lighter shimmery shades and helps you to look awake even if you fell like you'll nod off at any given moment!

What's your favourite eyeshadow palette, leave a comment down below I would love to try some new ones!
