Spring Lips

Spring lips are not usually something that I look forward too as I do love a good berry or red shade! This year I am determine to change this and have many varieties to use and add a pop of colour. I think that in the spring I tend to gravitate towards nudes and pinks, usually glosses that will add shimmer and light to the face. I have hand selected a few colours, varying in products from lipstick to crayons to glosses.

The first product is a l'oreal Lacquer in the shade '207 Lacque -Y-you' This is a lovely Pink/Purple shade, it is incredibly creamy and has such a smooth application. I have a post dedicated to this product if you would like to read more ... Read more

The next is a glossybox find, It is more of a coral shade so I can't wait to use this during the summer. I think this will look lovely with a tan! It is the Teeez Cosmetics Oasis Gem Lipstick, it is a satin matte product, it has the look of a matte but isn't drying on the lips, perfect for summer. And the packaging it stunning.

Next is a ted baker find, I didn't know they did makeup until the christmas gift sets came out, this is a perfect pink colour that will make any look pop, the right shade for any summer look.

On the glossier side is a revlon lip butter, one of my favorites for lip products, they are so creamy and glossy on the lips, they can be worn sheer or for a more full effect it can be applied as a darker colour. So many shades to chose from.

Another glossybox find is the essence liquid lipstick, it has the coverage of a lipstick with shine of a gloss. It is also a pink shade, can you see a trend here  haha!

I had to add a Mac lipstick into the mix as you can't go wrong where these are concerned. This is in the shade coral bliss, I got this on holiday last year and it pops with a tan.

I have also added two elf glosses into the list, they can be worn on their own for a sheer look that doesn't have much colour, this is perfect if you want a subtle hint of colour.

Last but not least is a cheap option for summer lips, these are great ways to try out many colours as they are not a waste of money if you don't end up wearing it. This is a gloss from MUA, it is extremely pigmented and glossy and a way to wear purple in the summer.
