Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation

I have never been one to venture towards high end foundations as I have always found good options on the high street and didn't feel like I needed to spend more money. Until I saw people talking about the magic foundation and I just had to get my hands on it, and I did. Charlotte Tilbury is one of my inspirations for makeup as she always appears to be so enthusiastic about her brand and you can certainly tell by the quality and finish of collection! Just look at this bottle, it has a frosted glass finish with a golden lid which leaves it look sleek and luxurious.

The aim of this foundation is to be full coverage which should cover acne, redness and also smooth out wrinkles leaving tired skin looking refreshed and awake. From my experience I can say it does all of this extremely well. Even though for me it is slightly too heavy, as I have expressed before if you have been reading for a while I hate full coverage foundations.  I have been using this for evening wear which is what I intended on when purchasing it. I love it as it lasts all night  giving the skin a perfect complexion. There is a brush that you can buy for it but I decided to try it with one of my own and see how I got on and It worked perfectly fine.

This is my first Charlotte Tilbury product and it has left me with high hopes to try more, My overall impression is that this is a perfect foundation for any evening out or if you like the full coverage look this would be perfect for day-to-day. As it is Semi matte you can go longer without powdering so it lasts a longer time leaving your face looking flawless. I am now going to search for more products to try!

Have you tried anything from Charlotte Tilbury? If so what is your favourite?
