Charlotte Tilbury - Secret Salma Review

Charlotte Tilbury makeup has always been something I see as a luxury item as everything about each product is so perfectly put together and feels special. Recently I have been trying to hold back on buying cheaper makeup items and have been saving up to buy some of the things I have been lusting after for a while now. Meet my newest addition 'secret salma' I received this for christmas after seeing it on Pinterest I couldn't stop looking at it. Opening this on christmas day was such a surprise, I always love opening Charlotte Tilbury packages as they come so neatly wrapped and it really does feel like an extra special gift! The lipsticks that have been created for this collection are aimed towards empowering confidence which I can agree with, as soon as I apply a lip colour I love I instantly feel like I could run the world. Each one has a square-angled finish which allows for a clean application that could be created by using a lip brush, making it perfect for on the go.

I loved this shade as it isn't too out of my comfort zone, it is darker then a nude and has a deep rosy plum tone which means it is still a fairly natural colour, one that I love. The mixture of colours also helps to bring out the colour in brown eyes which is great because I happen to have brown eyes too. Secret Salma is part of the new matte revolution formula range, I find that it sits perfectly on the lips with an even pigment throughout. It does feel slightly dry after wearing for a couple of hours but this can easily be change with a lip balm beforehand. It is comfortable to wear which I sometimes find with matte lip products can be a problem and it is very long lasting which is great because I can never be bothered to re apply thought the day so I can trust this to last me.
This is my second lipstick from the collection and I am obsessed I have already been looking out for my next purchase. The packaging is so sleek and pretty which appeals to me. It is simple and elegant and makes a nice addition to any makeup collection. They retail at£23 which I don't think is a bad price for a higher end lipstick, especially one that can make you feel so glamorous.

Do you have a CT lipstick? if not then which would you get?
