Sanctuary Spa Purifying Charcoal Bubble Sheet Mask

I had seen similar products to the Sanctuary Bubble mask being used all over the internet and I loved the concept. If you have been following me for a while you will know that I have a slight obsession with sheet masks or well masks in general. I saw this one in boots for £5 and I have to say I was a little bit taken back at spending that much on a mask but I guess its more for the experience of it being so different. I thought it came with two mask but it turns out that the two sections hold the bottom half and the top half of the face mask which did make it easier to apply and I guess it is done that way to fit more face shapes. At first it just looks like a very soapy black face mask so I didn't know what to expect. Over time you start to hear tiny crackling sounds as the bubbles start to form over the mask, it doesn't feel like anything but the bubbles do grow which was an amusing process to watch. It is not messy at all which I did think it would be because the bubbles grow outward's

Sorry for the bad lighting! I didn't think about the quality as I was just having the fun experience but I loved it so much I thought I would share!

The black charcoal in the mask is meant to leave your skin feeling deep clean and revitalised which I believe that It did, mostly because of the bubble sensation on the face which left it feeling super clean. It work by creating micro bubbles which help dislodge any pollution and dirt that may be trapped over the face and in the pores. I left the mask on for 10 minutes and afterwards I rinsed off any bubbles with warm water and applied a moisturiser.

I am very pleased with the results of using this mask and I would purchase again as it made for a unique experience. It felt lovely on the face and as a mask to use every now and again as more of a treat to relax I think the price is ok... It is still on the expensive side but It worked well!
